Atlantic Residence

Designed to be a flexible network of residential services, this residence allows consumers to move within the program sites, depending on consumer need, in coordination with the South Suburban Residential Committee.

Each consumer works with their primary counselor to design a treatment plan that addresses their individual needs, is flexible in nature, and provides as many services and hours of support as needed at any given time.

Through pager systems, creative scheduling, and flex-time policies, staff is available 24 hours a day / 7 days a week to respond to the unique individual needs of the consumers.

We also help those living off-site to access subsidies that allows individuals to live in their own space while continuing to access support from the program.

Services Offered

Atlantic Residence focuses on psychosocial rehabilitation for consumers by teaching persons with mental illness the skills necessary to live successfully in the community by focusing on strengths and abilities, providing choices, as well as making choices that will foster their independence and growth. The program has apartments on-site and supports beds within the community.

Services offered at Atlantic Residence are as unique as the consumers we work with. We provide transportation assistance, employment assistance, ADL skills training, medication monitoring, crisis support and treatment planning. Our services are flexible and are based entirely on the needs of our consumers.

Directions to Atlantic Residence

From Route 3 North / South: Take exit 16 onto Route 18 towards North Weymouth / Quincy. Route 18 will end in 1.5 miles. Take a left at the end of Route 18 - onto Route 53 / Washington Street. Take a right onto Broad Street. (first set of lights). Take a left onto Commercial Street at third set of lights. (CVS will be diagonally across the road on your left hand side when you first reach the lights.) Atlantic Residence is ¼ of a mile on the left. Take a left onto Wharf St. and park behind white building (pictured above) on your right. The office is located on the second floor right at the top of the stairs.
