CHD is in need of volunteers with administrative skills.

Marketing Professionals

Are you a marketing, communications or public relations professional looking to help others? CHD needs volunteers to participate in our marketing efforts. The goal is to promote awareness of our programs and generate assistance from the public through donations or volunteerism.

Senior Peer Counseling

The golden years are a time of wisdom and pursuit of lifelong dreams. And yet, aging can bring its own set of challenges. Sometimes issues like retirement, death of a loved one, changes in health, relocation and adjusting to a fast-paced technological world can bring about depressive symptoms. Sometimes we all need a little help.

If you are 55 years or older, interested in the counseling process and like to help your peers, a caring person with good listening skills, willing to accept training and supervision, in good health, physically and mentally, have your own transportation and willing to commit three to five hours a week for a year, then we could use your help.
